It is difficult to list all of the accommodation that we use and therefore if your preferred accomodation is not listed please let us know and we would be happy to tailor an itinerary around your preferred choice.

World Primate Safaris uses a variety of accommodation in each destination from camping under the forest canopy, to luxury mobile camps and lodges. Wherever possible we try to cater for the adventure to luxury traveller in each destination; on occasions this is restricted by what accommodation is available.

Uganda

A range of safari accommodation is available in Uganda. Western style luxury lodges and eco lodges are available for the luxury traveller and mobile tented camping safaris are possible for the adventure traveller. Some of the best lodges include Gorilla Forest Camp, Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge, Ndali Lodge, Ishasha Tented Camp and Mweya Lodge.

Rwanda

A range of safari accommodation is available in Rwanda. Western style luxury lodges and eco lodges are available for the luxury traveller and mobile tented camping safaris are possible for the adventure traveller. World Primate Safaris uses accommodation which maximises our clients wildlife viewing opportunities at the same time as affording them the utmost comfort. Please note that accommodation is not comparable to that of Eastern Africa.

Madagascar

Gabon

Accommodation in Gabon varies in standard as it is an up and coming safari destination. Western style lodges and rustic research camps proviude access to the best wildlife viewing areas. Loango Lodge in Loango National Park is the most comfortable whereas the WCS Research Camp at Ivindo provides some of the best access to observation of lowland gorillas, forest elephants, etc...

Northern Sumatra

Accommodation in Nothern Sumatra is of varying standards and is generally of a rustic but comfortable nature. Bukit Lawang Cottages provide the most comfortable accommodation in close proximity to the orangutan rehabilitation centre and is located along the raging river! Tanghakan has a selection of rustic accommodation including Mega's Guesthouse which are once again located on the river with bareback elephant riding nearby!

Republic of Congo and Central African Republic

Democratic Republic of Congo
